A billion white actresses have won a Leading Actress Oscar. All of them were white but one. It's not the same thing. It is in fact racist to suggest comparing Kristen Stewart to Jennifer Hudson's chances of winning an Oscar considering the past of this white exclusive award.

The House of Gucci is an independent film not a Gucci project. Gaga is not being payed by Gucci to appear in that film. On the contrary, the Gucci family have condemned the film based on it's unflattering portrayal of the family. Which is very different then being payed by a brand to perform at their event, which is what Jennifer Hudson is doing.

That Gucci sweater was created as a tribute to Leigh Bowery. It replicated the iconic silhouette of his lips perfectly. People unfamiliar with the reference understandably took it the wrong way. The design was unsuccessful, tone-deaf, but not racist. Gucci apologized profusely for the misunderstanding.

That weird and problematic Gucci sweater is not comparable to Dolce and Gabbana's extensive history with homophobia and racism. D&G have designed literal black face earrings, they opposed gay marriage, they called gay adoption synthetic and cruel, they implied gay men aren't real men, they proudly dressed and supported Melania Trump, they said they don't want anyone Japanese designing their clothing, and they went on an unhinged rant in which they called Chinese people dirty, smelly, dog-eaters.

Gaga has accepted (and continues to accept) pay checks from horrible companies, but the House of Gucci comparison is just ridiculous, and so is you calling @RAMROD disgusting and racist.

 

You think Gaga wasn't paid for this? Or worse do you think she paid racists and homophobes for this?

Jennifer Lopez was wearing them recently, Maluma uses them for his tours as does J Balvin & Bad Bunny, and many artists/actors/actresses still rock them.

Yup... They all do. Doja Cat, Ciara, Normani, Zoe Saldana, Saweetie, Lupita Nyongo, Shakira, Mindy Kaling Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, All three daughters of Sean Combs were in the show.
