It feels like a collection of remixes rather than a remixed album with a cohesive vision. Does anyone agree or care?Ā Like imagine how iconic it would be if we got a newer, batshit crazier transition from Chromatica II to 911. I think it really upset Bloodpop though because he had that vision for it with the interludes, & he made a comment to her on Twitter that he felt like she was more concerned about tik tok. He probably reminded her about deadlinesĀ & expected more professionalism from her. Their friends so that can make it hard sometimes too. But he might of given the chance to someone else to do the interludes if she wasnāt going to, but know itās a missed opportunity so I understand some of his resentment, everyone put so much work into this album, k she hadnāt put in any, he had stated that she hadnāt even started working on anything, lol. If you read their banter back & forth on Twitter, you canĀ definitelyĀ feelĀ Bloodpopās frustration, especially because Grimes makes so light of it. Bloodpop takes his work seriously. I'm pretty sure it's just a dope remix album. Don't assign your own expectations to something when that was never the case or else you'll be disappointed!!! They're perfection on the original album, but I love the way the remix comes together without being separated into acts.
