But if we're going to fuss every time Gaga is in a movie and doesn't win an Oscar... girls that's just not realistic If the movie is good and she gives a good performance, that's really all we can ask for

I mean it sounds like you just have fundamentally different taste in movies than Larrain lol I personally found Jackie to be very interesting and am curious about this movie as well. But to each their own. If I were you I just wouldn’t see it since it sounds like you have such a difference of opinion with the director that goes beyond the surface of execution and more to premise and ideas of what Makes a good story lmao

It’s still early in the game me thinks. It’s not late, but it’s too high of an expectation to expect every Gaga performance to warrant an Oscars nomination. We’ll see when the Gucci reviews come in. Things change with the race quite frequently. Sometimes to have the hype early will lead to disappointment.
