I finally found a snippet of it. First and foremost, the instrumental sounds the same as it did in the Haus Labs video, the short video of Gaga dancing to it during the HL launch, and the 1 year anniversary IG Story post from last year. The one from the V-Magazine photoshoot is clearly a slightly different version, and I don’t understand how people were expecting that version when everyone wanted the Haus Labs version.

Second, the vocals in my opinion is mostly what making it sound weird. They’re on beat, but the melody sounds weird.

It’s literally the current Babylon Acapella slapped over an old rough version of the Haus Labs instrumental with no care over if they fit together or not.

This is not the demo that was leaked, it sounds like Bloodpop didn’t have access to the thing and tried to recreate it with what he had in his laptop but had like two hours to do it .

Nah. The sample was OUT ages prior to this. The versions with the guitar is from 2018 while the "Haus Labs" is from 2019. Make no mistake it is still the same "Version" which is why he confirmed it. But the thing is it is the same in the way that ANY Gaga song has a demo that is the same "version" of a song - parts get taken out and added in the process constantly.

I feel like that was bound to happen since everyone has had such high expectations since they heard the short HL snippet and the leak. Personally I never really cared for it and I think the album version is superior by far, but I'm still curious to see what they did with it. But yeah there's no way they'll outdo the album version.

Y'all realize there were a couple of different leaks floating around of different versions of the song? I think there are competing ideas of which is supposed to be the "Haus Labs" version.

It’s not the same as the Bowie version of course which is the one I do prefer tbh but I still think it’s a bop and just wait a little while and someone who knows how can add the harmonies over it. I don’t think it’s worth having a meltdown lol
