And so I wanna ask you how did Gaga get all the money to buy her fashion and props etc. (When she was just starting out) ? There are photographs or gagavisions (I can't remember) where you can see her making some of these things. I think she had a budget from her label but she also used whatever % she received as personal earnings to put towards her shows because she had big ambitions and knew she would eventually make the money back. I imagine the same way drag queens can look glorious on a budget so could she. Also you have to remember she did burlesque singing shows with lady starlight in the early days & they would make their own costumes. She came from that culture, so I think it gave her a lot of freedom to invent with the experience she had coming into the music scene.
