I'm currently rewatching my favorite show and I cannot get over how diverse, well written and acted, mysterious, thrilling, and truly iconic of a show this is!

LOST was really ahead of it's time imo. You have fully fleshed out female characters instead of simply T&A, Black actors, Asian actors, Middle eastern actors...and the series explores all of their cultures and backstories (not just "token" POC actors.

There's TONS of cliffhangers, twists, turns, betrayals...there's action, drama, romance, thrills, sci fi, comedy, really something for everyone. For us fanboys, there's tons of Easter Eggs throughout the entire series not to mention the way everyone is connected and crosses paths.

I could go on and on, but what about you? If you're a fan of the show, tell us what your favorite parts of the show are or why you love it!

Jin, Sun, and Said are my favorites! Honestly, Kate and Jack are the most annoying to me. I really loved that show up until the last season. There were so many things unresolved. But yes, the diversity is impressive.

Jin and Sun's love story is SO epic! I'm seeing the entire show again for the first time in forever and I've forgotten how they just tug at your heart all the time. And Sayid and Nadia!!!! :messga:

The last season is my favorite as I was really into the mythology behind the island and I adore the finale. Imo, they resolved all of the important mysteries that had a larger impact on the show as a whole, and I enjoy leaving some things open-ended for us to use our imagination.

I also was not a huge fan of Kate and Jack when I first watched, but what's hilarious is I'm older now and realized how much I have in common with Jack :sharon:

I need to do a rewatch, as I haven't seen it in years. It's a very rich show.

My favorite show! I wasn’t even mad at the ending. I was just disappointed that there were so many things left unsanswered. But that made me buy tons of books about theories on the island and its secrets (I didn’t have internet when it came out, that’s how old I am)

Too bad the creators were forced by the "money people" of LOST to not follow their original 4 seasons plan and add a few in order to gain more bucks. :/

They themselves admitted to look for storylines in the middle of it to fill it more and laughed at how uninspired it sometimes was like with the Jack tattoo's explaination episode. 😂

That's so interesting, but at least we know where the tattoos came from :ladyhaha: I remember there were people like analyzing the tattoos for clues. You know there would be people

One of my favorites shows ever. Back then I was truly obssessed with it and since it ended (and Desperate Housewives) I've never got hooked on another show. And I still rewatch it from time to time. Truly a masterpiece.

My favorite character was Juliet and, unpopular opinion, I loved the finale.

One of my favorite shows.  I'd always make sure to watch it as it aired, even on school nights.  The cast is incredible, storytelling absorbing and unique, and the cinematography/setting is beautiful.

I'm one of the people that loved the series finale.  It seemed very fitting and existentially profound.

Agree with a lot of the comments so far -- and one of my favorite couples on the show is Rose and Bernard.  So romantic :diane:

Gosh, I miss some of the 00's shows.  Showtime was on point that era, too (Weeds, Dexter, Californication, Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara).

Thanks for the reminiscing thread, OP.  I had started to re-watch the series this spring but slowed down.  I'll have to jump back in!
