I knew this was going to be Spice Girls related before I even opened the thread.

They are the queen's of providing camp music  You can tell Ginger brought the campiness to the Spice Girls as evidenced in her solo albums!

In my messy era.

Lol it's actually a pretty catchy song but I remember being mad about it when I watched the video for the first time. The gay kid in me was like "Can't believe she left the Spice Girls to make this trash". :billie:

Geri is definitely the most consistently  campy of them all  Vicky is almost as campy but married someone who does sport and that kinda rules her out:ohwell:

It’s never too late to see the light:vegas: Is this trashy? Kinda, but it’s the best kind

I just recently re-discovered this and phew :giveup::giveup: Miss Ginger really snappedT here :unicorn: Why I think this is one of the best f@ggy bops out there:

- campy La Isla Bonita-esque production

- her questionable vocals

- her being surrounded by all those half naked men on the beach and on the boat in the MV

- the random Italian phrase in the chorus despite mostly speaking Spanglish throughout the song (that being the theme)

- the shallow story of craving for men

- the fuego Spanish spoken intro and bridge

- on the single version, there are two B-sides to this and one is even called ‘G.A.Y.’  Queen of the Union Jack:unicorn:

I’m obsessed:giveup: Also it went #1 in the UK, taste :applause:

Also, this song celebrated it’s 22nd birthday four days ago! :firega: Not me being the same age as this excellence:giveup:
