She said it's satire in the live stream she did before releasing it. She said it was written from the perspective of another character which she portrayed in the video, hence the blonde wig.

Aside from how ridiculous and pathetic this whole situation is... can people not tell this is clearly a wig?? I was so distracted by the fact it's clearly a wig while watching the video. Maybe being a hairdresser and being interested in wigs gives me a finer eye for detail idk but I thought it was glaringly obvious

Nope! She had to grow all her damaged hair out though and it was a process that took a few sessions to complete. Remember her black and green hair? They had to cut basically all the black off, which is why she had bangs and lots of layers. I think some of it is extensions too.

But speaking of wigs, when she was in the process of going blonde she didn't want anyone to see it until it was finished, so this hair is actually a wig (she confirmed it herself) and she's disguising it with the headpiece
