Obviously is she was played that song it's because the label wanted her to record a verse. That's already built into Jessie's story. It's assumed it doesn't have to be said.

In her correction she basically says she just records verses on any track her label pays her for whether she likes the song or not.

The song was a smash and it’s subjectively a good pop song, I don’t get why she felt the need to say something like this. All in all, I enjoy her music trajectory a lot but she has such a questionable and unlikeable personality.

She just had to push the narrative that jessie j “needed” her to make this song a hit  she just can’t take a compliment and go. Its What narcissists do!

Same. I liked her music but she's drinking the Kanye, Azealia "I Am A God" Kool-Aid and is super problematic these days. I'm enjoying Doja and Meghan's work more and at least they don't have the stank attitude
