Dr. Dre's oldest daughter reveals she's homeless and living out of her car

Dr. Dre's eldest daughter LaTanya Young ,38, has revealed she is homeless and has been living out of her car, while her father is ordered to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young $300,000 a month in spousal support.

The single mother-of-four (16, 13, 8, 3) works as a delivery driver for DoorDash and Uber Eats and as an assembler at a warehouse but claims that she can't afford to secure an apartment in California and is living in a rental vehicle. Her kids are staying with friends, they are not living in the car with her.

She said that she has repeatedly asked her dad, who is said to be worth a colossal $800million, for financial help but she has not received a dime in 18 months.

She is Dr. Dre's daughter with Lisa Johnson. They split when LaTanya was 5 years old.

She has not seen her father in 18 years and doesn't even have his cell phone number, she has to communicate with him through his team. 

she has been asking Dr. Dre's lawyer for help but he has told her that since she has spoken about her father to the press in the past, he will not give her any money.

LaTanya admitted that he has in the past helped her, by paying her rent and giving her an allowance, but that help ended in January 2020.

LaTanya Young  also said: 'He was supposed to put us through college and pay for our health insurance and he never did that.'

I don't care what happened between them two. I don't care if she decided to never see her father never again when she was young. She's STILL your daughter who has FOUR children and lives in a freaking car. How a scum of a human being you have to be to do nothing? It's not like you have to give her millions, even 20k could change her life.

That is bad. I mean, sure adult kid is not their parents issues anymore in the most part. But in situation like this, parents need to at least be there for them, and if they afford it, give them some loans.

Well, I've seen many times people here (I guess from the USA mostly) saying how bad it us that people still live with their parents and depend financially on them after they become adults so I guess this is what they want

 She probably doesn't get anything from him. He didn't pay her child support in the past and was beating her.
She was 14 when she met him and 15 when she gave birth to their first child.

I searched through the court records, I found complaints from 1984 and 1985 and it was a joint complaint alleging Dre wasn’t paying child support and it was a request for a restraining order and Lisa Johnson alleged that he beat her on a number of occasions. It was granted by the Judge, he was never charged criminally but the Judge ordered him to pay child support and to stay away from her.'
