He’s from northern Italy. Re Gaga, he said sounds like the part of Italy that Patrizia R comes from and people just expect a mario style accent. personally I thought in the first line she sounded a little Eastern European but I think with the setting and outfits etc she will sell the Italian accent. Many users here are international users who are able to speak or familiar with multiple Languages. On the contrary there are many that aren't able to notice small details as English is their first or only Language (they are the ones the movie seems to target so a not-so-great accent isn't a tragedy).
