ALL the critics waited until opening day to post their negative reviews. The bastards. The good news is the average rating is still at 6.1/10. Lextyr97 19,178
Just saw the movie. LOVED ITTTT. It really didn’t feel that long and Gaga murdered this role like holy ****. She was phenomenal. I cried at one scene because of how proud I was of Gaga. Edit: I should also add that you people should stop worrying about the reviews. Everyone said the movie felt too long and that the third act sucked… blah blah blah. What I actually was kinda eh on was the beginning. The movie got better and better as it went on. I loved it so much. It’s a very fast paced movie and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Watch the movie and stop worrying about the reviews. You may find that they do not in the slightest represent your own opinions.

Jennie Kim 6,944
Seems like this will easily get 400+ reviews in the end. Even if awards circuit decides to ignore Gaga, everybody will be talking about her either way When Gaga starts getting casted in blockbusters and becomes the female Tom Cruise >>>>>

Gaga already proved she belonged in that second category with A Star Is Born, which demonstrated she could carry a movie and didn’t have to rely on her stage persona for charisma. But she was playing a singer, naysayers said, so who knows if she’s got range or more than one great performance in her? We now have an answer. With House of Gucci, you get a jumble of stories jockeying for screen time, and then you get a supernova blazing at the center of all of it that burns everything superfluous away. If the film is remembered for anything, it’s for being Exhibit A as what a great actor she is. Forget Gucci. Long live the house that Gaga built." https://www.rollingstone.com/movies/movie-reviews/house-of-gucci-movie-review-lady-gaga-1261386/ The skull drag for OGH
littlepotter 74,579
I really can't begin to dream of the amazing roles Gaga's about to get offered after these reviews. Everyone in the industry will want to work with her and she's gonna have time to pick and choose the best roles for her, and then slay them. We're really not ready for the slayaj to come chaeri pls

While film twitter and a lot of people care about metacritic, in terms of the general, movie-going public....metacritic is barely a blip. Rotten Tomatoes, however, is definitely a factor and so it needs to stay fresh... King Richard had just under 200 reviews, and I suspect HOG will end up around the same. Did you see Peter Travers review? He often is featured on morning shows, so if he goes on and raves about Gaga...that will give the film some nice exposure. tappy3 699
I watched the movie last night and I have mixed feelings. The movie is not boring but it's neither exciting. I also read the book and was disappointed that some iconic scenes of Patrizia (Gaga's character) are missing in the movie. And the ending is really rushed. However, I must say Gaga is very good given the fact that the horrible script does not give her enough space to build her character (same applies to the Adam Driver's character). Cpeer 2,027
Just watched it too. I was so scared to watch it couse of all the reviews lol. it’s a great movie, Gaga and all others did a fantastic job. It’s not to long as many say, I even at first felt like I wanted more. The story goes very quick. That would be maybe my only “critic” , sometimes it feels like it’s going so fast and a lot of things could have been told in more detail. Yeah, I was curious as why critics loved the beginning but thought the end was bad. It finally picked up momentum at the end I felt like and the beginning was a little shaky.
