Guys do this right now! It only takes 2 minutes to send the email.

Here's the type of email format I would suggest:

Good morning/afternoon/evening,

I'm a little confused as to why are certain reviews getting posted before the ones included on this attached list, which was carefully constructed and thoroughly checked by a dedicated team of film industry experts. I would appreciate it if this list of compiled reviews could be published as soon as possible, seeing as most of them are still not included in the Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer, despite the fact that they are several weeks old. (Which, by the way, I'm sure is a simple oversight only and not a result of the unprofessionalism of the department in charge.)

I hope this helps in bringing some clearance as to what is to be done. Attached for your convenience is the list that I am referring to.

Looking forward to your speedy response!

Best regards

I'll send in the list of links too, maybe with my own personal note.

Didn't the Swift stans do this for some of her stuff? If they can spam them to death and be successful, why not try it tbh.

Though, I wonder if this long list might be a bit overwhelming? Maybe try a few in increments?

It really is kind of interesting to see which films get 'pushed' by film twitter (critics, random people, screenwriters, etc.)  and which do not. Don't Look Up has a lower metacritic and RT score than House of Gucci...and Being the Ricardos has a lower metacritic score...and yet those films are being lauded more than HOG and a handful of other films like In the Heights, Tick Tick Boom, etc.

Granted, tbf, I feel like RT and Metacritic aren't the best way to judge a film and I understand why some critics dislike RT. A 100 3 out of 5 star reviews can land a film a near perfect score....and twitter is but a small, insulated bubble in some ways (clearly, a lot of critics were in favor of Gaga's performance if she won NYFCC).

I noticed how those film twitter snobs were dragging HoG for its RT score a while ago but as soon as “Dont Look up” and “Being the Ricardos” started to get worse reviews, they were like “Oh, nobody cares about Rotten Tomatoes”

lol it’s very entertaining :ladyhaha:

Hello,

I noticed there are missing reviews from Tomatometer-approved critics for House of Gucci. I have throughoughly checked, and all are Tomatoemeter approved critic reviews for Tomatoemeter-approved publications.

Yeah, film twitter and pundits are pretty selective. I think with HoG mostly boils down to them not wanting Gaga to snatch a nomination at all. They downtalk her, but seem threatened that she'll be win-competitve somehow. Most of them seem to want KStew to win. I also think some of them might be conditioned to just not like fun movies with Movie Stars, and made stanning the Criterion Collection their whole personality.

(also don't get how they can speak of ill of Sir Ridley, yet give more leeway to Sorkin, and... Adam McKay :excuseu:)

RT came up with the idea of verified audience reviews to discourage review bombing. I'm trusting that they will get things right with the Tomatometer. HoG is having a wonderful dream run with audiences loving the movie and Gaga. But we still enjoy seeing that RT apple.
BTW, the review that dropped HoG to 60 was left by someone at BuzzFeed News who has one review on RT. HoG is her only review. Odd. I'm disappointed in BuzzFeed News – they're better than that.

I did and I accused them of sabotaging HoG intentionally. In my next email, I'll threaten a lawsuit :vegas:

To be fair, Kristen gave an amazing performance that shut everyone up. Everyone was doubting her. You also have to factor in that Kstew kind of feels personal to a lot of film twitter and critics who have been through the intense Twilight ride (and before) with Kristen, seen her be unfairly trashed and then supported her post Twilight turn into smaller movies which always got great reviews. She's popular with them. Non fans who haven't been paying attention might be surprised by that but some critics have met her and interviewed her and they really like her as a person. They also love a good Hollywood story, they're always on about the best "narrative" and it seems to me that Kristen has the best one this year. Twitter will FREAK if Kristen wins an Oscar. Twihards will reactivate full fangirl mode 😅

Like as much as some people might want Nicole or Olivia or anyone else win i think they would accept a Kristen win over their fav far more easily than anyone else bc there's no denying that her performance was great.

Well all except Gaga fans that is... 🧐🤗
