Not sure if this was AP but it's from June 2021 where Murphy lists his fav episodes of each season. Even if you don't like every season (like me) the episodes he picked were, in my opinion, the best or one of the best of the season.

(Directors and Writers courtesy of @HIM820)

1) Murder House - "Pilot" directed by Ryan Murphy, written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk

2) Asylum - "The Name Game" :firega: directed by Michael Lehmann, written by Jessica Sharzer

3) Coven - "The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks" directed by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, written by James Wong

4) Freakshow - "Monsters Among Us" (truly the best of the season, it's all downhill from there :vegas:) directed by Ryan Murphy, written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk

5) Hotel - "Checking In" (Gaga's iconic intro scene :v:) directed by Ryan Murphy, written by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk

6) Roanoke - "Chapter 6" directed by Angela Bassett, written by Ned Martel

7) Cult - "Great Again" directed by Jennifer Lynch, written by Tim Minear

8) Apocalypse - "Return to Murder House" (the ONLY correct choice :trollga:) directed by Sarah Paulson, written by Crystal Liu

9) 1984 - None (jk it's "Red Dawn" directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton, written by Dan Dworkin)

SHOOK at Sarah Paulson and Angela Bassett directing! :lolly:

The article includes comments from Murphy behind each episode/season. Worth a read if you are a fan of the show.

Just a little over a month until season 10 sistren! :bye:

Ignore him, he drinks.

Flicker is clearly the superior episode. Proof is that I remember the episode name despite having no need or desire to.

True, we do get more of her backstory which she slayed.

For me, nothing replaces her strutting with Matt Bomer in hand, to the tune "Tear You Apart*

The scene where Gaga is looking for her next victim :v:with that "I want to tear you apart" song playing in the background is one of the best AHS scenes ever.

True + it's Hotel's only episode with a 100% rotten tomatoes score.

My fave Hotel episode is when the Countess and Ramona reunite and are about to fight, but they end up making love. I forgot which episode it is :flop:

Uhmm... why do they say 1984 is considered to be the worst season when it literally has the best score on Rotten Tomatoes ever? :bear:

"Stevie Nicks saved my life when I was a teenager because I saw in her a way out, a way to be unique in the world and not give a s*** what anyone says or thinks about you."

Gaga for me :bradley:  and I'm sure plenty of you as well

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Idk I could just never take it seriously. I think it was all the mediocre and just plain bad acting. Not to mention a plot with as many holes as the bottoms on this site :ohwell:
