I am pretty no company has an issue with people wearing a cross. We have seen it many times. This is how people are trying to force women into certain standards. You fail to see that, hiding behind xenophobia. You can’t preach freedom and liberty if it is conditional. Don't get pissed off cause I called a spade when it comes to the ignorance here lol. You're dead wrong about no company being against crosses at work but you're sure you know how things are so... Men would also be forced in certain neutrality standards so no it's for everybody, inform yourself. Calling out discriminations when it's giving the same rules to everyone makes no sense, everyone could have political t shirts for example yet neutrality at workplaces rules may stop them all just like it may stop christians , Muslims etc men or women, folks with unions t shirts etc... Well we all always adapt our freedoms uses so your last sentence sounded good yet was disconected from the truth of Living in a society.

If the person is not a hair model, why does covering it or not that triggering? According to this logic Anything can political if you want it to be. Wearing a MAGA hat or political shirt is not the same. COME ON GAYS!!

I dont like the scarf and dont like that women wear it. It is not my right to vote or choose what women wear period. As long as it is not covering her identity, it is noones place. These ideas started with xenophobia and ofc they scapegoating by policing what women should wear or not. If you fail to see this, then you can’t pretend to be liberal COME ON GAYS!! I didn't say it was the same, just that it all felt under workplaces neutrality rules allowing clothes restrictions in europe therefore you saying it was against women or xenophobia was wrong. It's simply a general neutrality principle applied to all from different sexes origins etc. i have to go, see you later !

Since many european countries would actually get more Christian culture signs visible without these laws than signs than signs from other religions... I don't think it's a fair portrayal. I don't know why folks refuse that it can really be to separate workplaces and all religions.

And these laws/ principles often targeted christian signs at first so saying europe's neutrality at workplaces started with xenophobia is false. You repeat it scapegoats what women wear when it concern men clothing neutrality at work as well... Your critics are unfair.

gothicdream 39,660
Just because a law is written to apply to all people, doesn't mean the execution and enforcement of that law won't disproportionately affect marginalized groups. The law may not be biased, but the people who will carry it out certainly are.

One could argue that Dreadlocks are not appropriate for some jobs too . Or ban the rainbow flag since it can be a political symbol, no? Or would that be homophobic? No they shouldn’t, laws should protect individuals rights within work space not the other way around. Specially from the EU that has advanced with worker rights for the big part but apparently finding ways to control what women should wear COME ON GAYS!!
