flyaway 15,350
Chromatica is Lady Gaga's sixth studio album, following the successful project A Star Is Born in 2018, where she starred alongside Bradley Cooper. A project that went back to her dance roots and explores sounds from the 90's in a remote planet her producer named Chromatica. So far, Chromatica has produced 3 singles. The bop not so loved by fans, Stupid Love. The collab Rain on Me with fellow singer Ariana Grande. And the unappreciated 911. And Free Woman, which was a single in France (right?). Ok so there are 3 singles, 3 MV, an MTV Tricon performance, an unreleased Sour Candy video? ,a Remix Album? Some brand partnering for perfumes, watches and Dom Perignon. And hopefully a series of concerts next summer. So far, are you happy with this out of this world era?

LittleMonster20 9,858
I appreciate it for what it is and am being considerate. I’m sure if things went differently it would have been amazing as they clearly had a lot planned. We might not have gotten a lot but it was definitely quality content. Hopefully LG7 will make up for it. I’m very much pleased myself, it’s my favorite Gaga album and I love the visuals!
Lucas 27,320
Only music wise. Everything else was a huge disappointment. This era legit makes me question Gaga's interest in her music career. Also this topic is getting locked 100%

Scri 845
I really appreciate how deep she was with the interviews, and I absolutely love 911 video, but now my mind is def more focused on L4S. (Also, the album has some of my favourite songs of Gaga, such as Replay)
alsemanche 93,970
The album is good, but I don't really think it's as good as I first thought it was. I haven't listened to it in months. The photoshoots are very good, ones of her best of sure. The videos are... meh. 911 is excellent and one of her best imo, but Stupid Love is just bad and ROM was good the first few times I watched it but now it's just fine. From the singles, I think 911 is the only very good song. SL is one of her worst for me, and ROM is among my least favs on the album (but I understand why it was made a single obviously). So yeah it's been a pretty meh era all in all, and a lot of wasted potential. The album could have been a stunning visual album with a lot of more adventurous production on some songs, but oh well. Soft, soothing, and succulent
Hebi 13,928
Last year wasn't that bad. We got 3 mvs and AT LEAST 1 live performance (and a big night for her) + other stuff. But this year it's atrocious how boring has been so far. I'm not even sure we're still in the Chromatica era, she seems to move on to the Gucci film / Love For Sale promo. The only thing that could save us is the Chromatica Remix and it's not even safe to say she's releasing it.

This era legit makes me question Gaga's interest in her music career. Also this topic is getting locked 100% I'm so sick of reading this. We've been told they had a huge rollout planned, we know what some of it was. We know what happened in 2020. It was out if her control. We know that she had some family issues to prioritise and she just didn't feel like doing zoom concerts. We know she was busy filming 2 movies. Because that's when they were scheduled and she had to roll with it. We know she has an album coming out with Tony in like 2 weeks and has filmed a TV show with him. Stop acting like she doesn't care and that she did nothing for Chromatica. She did a podcast, 3 magazine covers and interviews, other interviews including a long interview with Zane Lowe, Gagavisions, 3 major music videos, the VMAs with Ariana. I actually wish she'd literally done nothing bc im so sick of reading that she did nothing and is lazy. She should have stayed in Malibu and not risked filming a video for 911 during a pandemic. 😇
JohnWayne92 2,224
I don’t think Chromatica can or should be judged. Gaga clearly had plans, even if most of you whine that she didn’t do anything with this era. It was literally the beginning of a Pandemic. Stupid Love came out right before everything shut down around me, and then Rain On Me came out DURING the pandemic, and she still did 911 for us and performed at the VMAs. If this wasn’t released during this time period, Chromatica probably would have had MASSIVE waves. If this remix album is a thing, maybe she will pick it back up and promote TF out of it so she can try and make it seem okay that the concert is now now for a 2 year old album by the time people get to see it. If not, oh well. She will have another era, and hopefully the viruses will stay at (Alice)bay for it.

The album itself is pretty good, but it's not amazing for me. I stopped listening regularly a month after it came out. And while there were good reasons for the era to not be as great as it would have been pre-pandemic, it would have been nice if something more was done. The insane amount of Haus Labs posts in comparison left a bitter taste tbh, though I do understand why she would promote her successful, new brand. The album still did fine without heavy promo. Ultimately it's her choice and at this point I just accept whatever comes because I don't really care. Like a poem said by a neydy in red
