She got the PRIVILEGE to perform with one of the greatest and most popular legends of ALL TIME. If the Rolling Stones identifies Gaga as a true artist, a true performer, then who cares about what the general public thinks? If this doesn't imply that she's going to be a legend, then I don't know what else would! This, this this ! Anyone who says Gaga didn't kick ass during that performance is completely delusional and had already decieded she was gonna suck before she got on stage. There is nothing that girl could have done to change their mind. Two of the guys and one girl from my local rock radio station, who weren't sure they liked the idea at first were really impressed. The female host played clips of audio and didn't tell them who it was at 1st. Once she did they were really surprised and admited they were wrong. I'm sure 90% of the people complaining know very little about Gaga and probably didn't even see the show. The fact is The Rolling Stones were having a pvv for their 50th anniversary, they were not about to use just any random female pop star and take a chance of ruining the song. People can be talented, but being this much of a pro in completely different fields (music and otherwise) like she is is exceedingly rare. Oh, and I loved seeing rockstar Gaga 100% unleashed there. She looked like she was having the time of her life, so glad she got to perform with her childhood heroes. She's a rocker at heart and like many have said, she's the only one who could even qualify as THE rockstar of our generation. I love her vocals so effing much and when she does ANYTHING where she can place her angelic, perfect voice front and center like paino + accoustic, Jazz, Rock, etc. I become an incoherent mess. This made me an incoherent mess. And of course so, so, so happy for our Gaga! I melted when I read that interview bit with Mick being starstruck and saying "I can't believe I just performed with Lady Gaga!".
