That's good! Unfortunately, my fully vaccinated partner got the delta variant and has symptoms. Even more strange, I'm still testing negative, even though we sleep together. So weird.

Literally, the WHO are betraying virological science, it baffles me.

Asymptomatic infections are a thing in general though.

With bacterial infections it happens a lot.

(Just wanted to point put that it actually is a thing lol)

Please don't spread misinformation about COVID on this site?

The first website you cite, principa scientific is not a legitimate source. That website has denied climate change, and has stated that "carbon dioxide is not a greenhouse gas".

The second source, "jeremyrhammond" has made VERY questionable statements about covid in general and the vaccine + quarantining.

The 3rd source, "thefederalist", is a conservative website that has a lot of bias, and is a very right leaning website. The arguments they state are very biased.

Promoting that there is censorship, and that there is no such thing as asymptomatic cases is misinformation and can be very harmful information.

I am so sorry to hear about your partner!

Biased or not, they're backed by science and studies. Far more analytical and believable. I could show you same information from more legitimate sources. Don't automatically brand something misinformation for showing a different perspective to what you are fed. It's dangerous to have such a narrow focus on what information we have at hand. I'm not promoting anything other than science, and censoring is occurring - whether you choose to ignore it or not.

If you think mainstream media isn't biased either, you have a lot to learn - all of us do. I couldn't care if they lean right, I'm focussed on the science and asymptomatic spread is just not really a thing. Do you want the same data from my university (UEA) and the British Medical Journal, or are you going to focus on the political garbage?xx

Not with COVID-19. With data so far. Same goes for most viruses. I don't know much about the transmission of bacterial pathogens if I'm honest but that's the next thing I shall research

Guess I'll paste my reply here too (although he didn't include the last link you posted om the other thread but here it is:

https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/11/201130131511.htm)

Do you even read what you post? From your last link:

"But these findings do not show that the virus can't be passed on by asymptomatic carriers. Rather, mask-wearing, hand washing, social distancing and lockdown have helped reduce Covid-19 virulence."

In other words, wear your damn mask. Not to mentiom that this is study from 2020 and that it doesn't account for any variants (and neither do any of the other links you posted, all of whicn published last year except one that has no date as far as I saw). I know you love this "masks are oppressive" narrative, but maybe it's time to drop it because it's embarassing (and harmful).

Can you please show me these science and studies? Because I can provide several on how asymptomatic infections and transmission does exist (see bottom of post)! And I am not "automatically branding something misinformation", and I am not being fed anything. Promoting the fact that there aren't asymptomatic cases is very dangerous and harmful.

Obviously mainstream media is biased, I think many people know that and it's a common sentiment. But spreading information that can be harmful and lead to the spread of COVID is very dangerous. If possible I'd love your data because you are promoting very dangerous information.

When have I ever said "masks are oppressive". Don't put words in my mouth. 300 cases were asymptomatic, none were infectious. Something to think about, all I'm saying.

Here's your exact wording

"I am not an anti-vax anti-masker, but I ain't Japanese and it isn't within my culture to wear them, and it shouldn't be made mandatory forever. Totally against human rights and I'm only human; I miss social contact but mostly I miss seeing peoples' faces."

to be fair, the principia science cites nature communications, which is a highly reputable source. however, that doesn’t mean they’re using their source correctly haha

But the CDC announced a long while back that asymptomatic spread w COVID is very minimal risk, that’s a pretty reliable source :huntyga:

I think your arguments are fairly baseless as there’s been misinformation all around when it comes to COVID. Some misinformation probably even caused less infection. I.e. people finding information that they believed COVID spread via surfaces so everyone oversanitized surfaces, which isn’t a bad thing necessarily however, it still proved to be false later on. “Misinformation” is a term thrown around way too often just to discredit legitimate facts and articles that people just disagree with
