To me Sharon Stone would have been perfect.

I'm curious to see how this goes, tho part of me feels like they should have left it alone when the 3rd movie didn't materialize. Hope this is a one-off thing that will properly close the story.

Not someone dragging SATC for being too white. The show started in 1998, nearly 25 years ago, and you want three ICONIC characters to be replaced by POC to be more "woke" Sure let's replace "Friends" with BTS

There's literally a show called Run the World that just aired on Starz that's basically a black SATC, so maybe you should take a look if you're so offended by this reboot...

I really think they should’ve cast a new character to fill Samantha’s shoes. I really think SATC needs the foursome, I feel like this will be the 2020s answer to The Golden Palace.

Since it will be episodic for 10 episodes, I have hope for this not to be rushed.

Wonder what they will do with Samantha. The obvious way out would be killing off Samantha. So the season will start with Samantha already passing. Otherwise, they might do some other routes just in case Kim Catrall changes her minds later on. 
 

That position cannot be replaced, so I hope there won't be another permanent 4th girl in the mix. I am fine with it filled in by guest stars on each episode for the dynamic instead tho! Perhaps Louise can return on some episodes?

It is, if you check the official Instagram account that's linked in the op, some of the first posts are a cast reveal and there are two women of color joining the show.

Everyone is talking about killing Samantha, but can't they just throw a line that she moved to another city or country instead of killing her.
