Yeah, but the party that profits from the leftovers from the Cold War is primarily the Republican Party, and by a LOT. Recently the division started to grow due to the Democratic Party beginning to have a left wing and the Republican Party basically being populated by fascists, so in this context being anything else than a Democrat is contributing to fascism, and because of how the system is created, this is true. You can't freely vote for any other party except for the Democrats if you want to keep at least a fraction of the liberty you associate with living in America, and that's obviously not a healthy political system but until we get rid of fascism, we can't start thinking about what to do about it. The stakes are simply too high.
