i still use mine but god, this isn't gonna increase confidence in the vaccines. whilst it's obviously important to understand exactly what a vaccine does, people who haven't researched this are gonna take this as "keep wearing your masks because the vaccines don't work". people got vaccinated so they didn't have to wear masks anymore... so this could be over.

Sorry, but no. I'm fully vaxxed and the CDC has said I'm gucci so I'm following their guidance. I've only worn my mask at businesses that require them  We will always have variants of covid, its a virus. It's time to stop acting like this is a story with an ending, cause it ain't. Time to start adjusting to a life with coronavirus.

I have to wear a mask to work so I’m not that bothered but I don’t wear them to the store/when I’m not on the clock lol which has been nice

i personally stopped wearing a mask at my work (but not grocery, etc) because my work said it was no longer required, the cdc said all vaccinated people did not have to wear them, and everyone at my work is vaccinated. so idk it wasn’t really overconfidence when everyone i came into contact with was vaccinated and the cdc said it was OK.

I won't be wearing masks in 2022, it'll be coming off. Enough is enough. It has to be lived with, end of. Whole pandemic is starting to look like a scam on many fronts too.

How are we becoming overconfident when our leaders are telling us it’s fine? Joe and Kamala have been having large massless gatherings at the White House for over a month. We are simply following the lead of the experts and leaders that we trust.

Vaccines don’t stop things from existing, they just slow the spread the fact is that in the United States and many other countries not many people are not vaccinated yet.

it’s herd immunity. The more vaccines, the better chances of stopping it.

also it’s a VARIANT. It’s the same as the flu. Our vaccine is working on one variant, but not the second delta variant. We need to stop THAT from spreading.
