girl i-

the audacity :dom:

I love how it's like "oh well I haven't heard of them so they're obviously not big"

Justice have been been nominated/won multiple Grammies, they're not some unknown band from Europe like people are making out.

If you r ally think this is the most relevance they have then you clearly don't know a lot.

I looked them up, 200 million views on youtube, that's quite a lot actually, i just didn't know.  It just makes me wonder why they'd bother being petty about this.

or maybe his legal team googles logos first and does due dilligence.

I'm honestly shocked people think this is some creative thing worthy of credit or compensation.

Nobody creates in a vacuum - inspiration and ideas come from all sorts of places and this doesn't look remotely like a case where you would even worry someone would be petty enough to make a deal out of it.

Justice was a critically aclaimed/ grammy & MTW awards winning band invited to every major festivals around the World for years so I doubt it's a coincidence coming from a bunch of people in the music business between Bieber, his labels folks, his creative folks etc.

Also, people have been condamed for less and I'm sure Bieber's team knows it since it's their job.

Well, justice got the proof they knew about them doing it before and having it as the main element of their visual identiry for + 15 years so I understand they feel copied, even over a simple concept.

The way y'all are ignoring this part and saying the same thing as they did already, about not owning cross

That's why being small indie artist is so shitty and hard

I think Doesnt matter regardless. It doesnt look simmilar enough to warrant this

IDK how people can defend Justin's team when they literally contacted JUSTICE then did their own thing without even waiting for a response... like... pay tribute

I did this T as cross when I was in school on the table too:bear:

This...it's nothing groundbreaking or exclusive. None of both came with the idea. This is sooooo lame lmao

JB literally contacted Justice to say their logo was cool and they want the original artist to do something similar for him, then denied all connection since

The only right way to use a cross as a "t":

She should trademark that logo if she hasn't already

coming off with a shitty typo, and then calling the band and then being like : nahh, my design is such genius whatever, i don't have time to find another genius idea. That's designer work ma'am. Sorry for the shade dude but this is slapdash.

Spoiler

yes i'm pissed. whatever. I dont' understand pop stars being so sloppy and then being like : i'm an artist, I designed it. Look mum... :saladga:

Both designs are pretty basic. Especially Justin's, which looks like the same bubble word doodles we all made in school when we were supposed to be working :laughga:

I see where they're coming from but this whole thing seems frivolous tbh. It's kind of like those people that sue when someone uses a similar bass line or guitar lick. Or if a chef says someone ripped off their food because they use similar ingredients.

You can't copyright an instrument's sound, you can't own a seasoning or a food, and you can't say basic looking bubble text with a cross (which has been done a billion times) is a rip off. Everything is derivative.

You're stinky

You can't trademark the letter "t" unless it's stylized to the point that it's no longer a "t" :laughga:

This.

Why is everyone ignoring the fact they contacted Justice about it and then just clearly went and ripped it off. If that hadn't happened then it could easily be a coincidence and no doubt the Justice wouldn't be half as bothered. As it stands they have every right to be annoyed.
