I’m listening with my AirPods and it sounds terrible guys

EDIT: okay guys, make sure your hooked up to WiFi, I was at the gym when listening not on WiFi and it was so bad, but now I’m at my house in WiFi and it sounds much better!

Can someone confirm if this is available on an iPhone XR with Beats Solo 3? Is this apart of a new iOS update?

Yup it's compatible all through the iPhone 7, with iOS 14.6.

Acc to apple, these devices automatically turn on Dolby Atmos when it's available:

AirPods Pro or AirPods Max with spatial audio turned on. Go to Control Center, touch and hold the volume button, then tap Spatial Audio.

AirPods

BeatsX, Beats Solo3 Wireless, Beats Studio3, Powerbeats3 Wireless, Beats Flex, Powerbeats Pro, or Beats Solo Pro

The built-in speakers on an iPhone XR or later (except iPhone SE), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation or later), iPad Pro 11-inch, iPad (6th generation or later), iPad Air (3rd generation or later), or iPad mini (5th generation)

But with most headphones (I think, at least with the regular apple earbuds), you can go into your music settings and set dolby atmos to always on and it will work, although the quality will not be as good, I still think it sounds great

Thank-you so much!! :heart:

edit: I was running iOS 14.4 :rip::bradley:

Um I guess 100 or so is fine :)

That's a reeeaaally low budget for the type of product you're looking for.

I am very underwhelmed with this Atmos feature. The music sounds so strange with it, sometimes it’s too loud sometimes too silent.

sounds in general like an unmastered demo :enigma:

Yeh this is really bad, it basically unmixed chromatica and throws everything into a room with metal walls. Sometimes it works, mostly it doesnt.

has blood pop said anything?

I think that happens when the device you’re listening with doesn’t support the function right? What are you using? Because I’m experiencing the same thing and I know my device isn’t compatible
