Gaga is known across every generation because of C2C for the oldies, ASIB for the youngens (and oldies too I guess), and everyone in the middle knew of her from her major success 2008-2012. To me the only one on this list who is confusing is J-lo... I did not know she was so well known. Surely the young ones have no idea who she is Unfortunately artists like Michael and Prince are being lost to the younger generations, but that's just what happens! Rihanna quited music, which seriously hurts her popularity unless you're a makeup person (a limited demographic) or already know music back then, there are still huge number of people who don't listen to certain artists and just go with what's new and big rn.
