So their survey is used by a lot of company. Anyway, lot of younger generation now (who was born 2005 above/ TikTok Gen ) maybe not familiar with Michael Jackson, however, Gaga is very well known among them. I know this because I work at one of this marketing research company and once conducted a survey with almost similar result. I believe the way they measure is by asses the question “when we say about celebrity, who is the first person who come into your mind” … which I believe Gaga is one of most common name across all generation. correct me if I am wrong. Probably more people have heard of Madonna than any other artist. But other artists may be the fave of more people, or at least be liked by more people. The question is the key. Older artists will suffer a few points with the newer generations. Meanwhile Gaga is a contemporary artist who is also well known by older generations. Do any of you remember that Guinness record where she was the most famous person worldwide (more than the Pope)? Its because if you ask people if you've heard about Gaga they would say yes.
