I've been trying to get into Florence's music for years now and have only listened to Dog Days Are Over and want to know everyone's opinion on what album to listen to right now. Like, which is the best one from start to finish?

Imo Ceremonials along with Born to die from Lana were the albums that defined 2011. Give it a try!

HBHBHB is a masterpiece :vegas:

Queen of Peace and Mother are probably some of my favorite songs EVER tbh.

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

HBHBHB is a masterpiece! Closely followed by Ceremonials, and then Lungs.

I still didn't get into High As Hope and I doubt it will ever happen, I don't feel that album at all.

My favorites that I highly recommend you are:

Lungs: Rabbit Heart, Howl, Drumming Song, Cosmic Love

Ceremonials: Only If For A Night, What The Water Gave Me, Never Let Me Go (tear bringer), No Light No Light, Seven Devils, Spectrum

HBHBHB: Ship To Wreck, What Kind Of Man, How Big How Blue How Beautiful, Delilah, Hiding, Make Up Your Mind, Which Witch

These are the best songs, in my opinion of course, so spiritual and powerful!

I've been getting messages from my deep waters

High as hope is an underrated album. It’s definitely an album that she needed to make for herself and for anyone who truly understands what it’s like to not feel good enough with living a sober life.

HBHBHB there's no competition. The short film for it helped a lot too.

BUT if you're about to start fresh with F+TM then you need to do it like this

Ceremonials -> Lungs -> HBHBHB -> High As Hope

I personally would listen to her chronologically tbh but if you want to start somewhere, go with Ceremonials. It will always have a special place in my heart. HBHBHB is also great, especially with the visuals. Lungs does feel like a debut album tbh, but it's still excellent, and High As Hope is VERY underrated.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Imo Florence has albums for particular seasons, eg Ceremonials (my fave) is very much an autumnal/winter album, where as HBHBHB and Lungs are like spring\summer vibes. I havent listened to HAH much so that could be a year-rounder idk.

Not the bore worms!

All her albums are gorgeous, but Lungs and Ceremonials are pure gold.

Thank you everyone. It seems like Ceremonials and How Big are the favorites so far.
