Will Dua’s “Future Nostalgia” era inspire other pop stars to work harder?

After the huge success of Future Nostalgia it left me wondering if Dua brought back the traditional album era rollout? 
 

Future Nostalgia album peaked 1 year after it’s release, it is getting a no1 single with it’s 6th single in the USA, Levitating has one of the longest climbs to the no1 position on Hot100 and is breaking records everywhere just because of Dua’s hard work and dedication to the era as of whole. 
 

Do we think this will inspire other record labels and their artists to try and make their eras as long as possible? 

I personally hope it will.

I hope so. One of the major praises this album got is how she brought back strong eras and commitment despite the difficulties. Artists who want this level of success are blind sided if they don't follow this path... Record labels must certainly keep a closer eye from now on

Dua thrived in unprecedented circumstances and demonstrated that you do NOT need to be able to travel the world to promote your releases. Will others learn from her? Time will tell.

I definitely hope so. I missed huge eras in music industry. This reminded me so much of TFM and BTW era from Gaga

I mean, Dua Lipa is known as the WHO terror. Yes she worked a lot but she also broke pandemic rules all the time. What's the price of making some big record label more money?

Upcoming new artists already had long eras (Billie, Harry, Doja, Dua), so no. The ones that have to climb their way to establishment will keep doing long eras and the ones who are already established won't necessarily have to.

I don't know but I hope so. It feels like artists today just use the power of their name to promote an album.

Well to be completely honest I don’t think any of her travels were to promote the album. She traveled because she wanted to rest, not because she wanted to promote. Everything she did for the album was safe and she tested before everything including her livestream.

She’s a new artist who needed to get her music out there. Glad to see the way she promoted it given the circumstances and no touring allowed.

I think this is just a 'new artist' thing. She is relatively new to the GP and has to cement her status as a serious artist.

Gaga on the other hand be like

with the Haus bc both ROM and Traumatica got to #1 with basically doing nothing  .

And yes, I know Gaga and her team planned this era through, and only bc of the pandemic she couldn't do it. But my point still stands as she really did almost nothing
