This was also the height of "celebrity Gaga fans", where some fans were treated as mini celebs if you know what I mean.

In addition to Marc Monster (a fan who was friends with Gaga), Maikeeb (the Yaas gaga person), and Emma (a mod here and one of Gaga's good friends)... I'd say four people from this video kinda fit that status as well. Those being Jessica (centre), Tim (far right), Derek (to the left of Jessica) and Justin (on Jessica's right)

The pre-ARTPOP days and beginning of the ARTPOP era was truly a different time entirely. Gaga actually interacted with certain fans on a personal basis, sometimes even visited them; while the majority of us were clawing and trying to achieve the level these people got to.

I'm happy those days are gone though. Some of those celebrity Gaga fans got to their head too much and thought they were all that. A very weird time in Gaga history indeed.

I still remember Maikeeb elbowed me in the face at Roseland Ballroom :mark:

All the monsters came for her :billie: we couldn't hear the demo because she kept screaming "LISTEN TO MY CD"! An iconic Gaga fan moment :billie:

HuffsAhoy

When you see embarrassing behavior like this, is it any wonder she is no longer close to the fans?

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

I remember Marc saying right before Applause dropped that she was tired of the paws up thing 'cause she was all grown up now.

Some weeks later Gaga released the Applause video and :awesome:

And then the giant paws up chair during the artRAVE tour...flop fan Marc was now he trash talks her :billie:

I’m so glad that era has mostly passed. It was so messy, especially that Yas video by Variety or whatever. There was so much ego just because you get acknowledged by  Gaga. But I miss her interacting with fans like that.

There was no better period for monsters than Monster to BTWBT/Pre ARTPOP eras
Remember when this woman created a social network EXCLUSIVELY for her fans, and she even entered many group chats herself interacting with a huge amount of fans?
Ohhhh I miss those days
