Better Day 5,766
It’s been 10 years since we lost the great soul Amy Winehouse. I still miss her to this day. How do you think her third album would of done? Would it be any different from Black To Black? Would it have been as successful? I’m interested to hear your opinions. Together You And I! Mirrion Rizzons 10,900
I think commercially she would have peaked with back to black, but the acclaim would still be there
Anderson123 38,218
I think it'd have been like Adele's 21 and 25. Like, Back To Black was her peak with Rehab and there was some type of hype about her next move, the lead single would've been huge and have some great album tracks. Not talking about numbers or anything by the way, just the attention people and critics would've had about her work. It would've been her post-Grammy album and that usually creates a lot of expectation.
ShayCristoforo 10,607
I consider Back To Black to be the most solid album I’ve ever heard. What a true talent Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.
FfFfFfFF 55,696
It would've been a melodic and beautifully instrumented album.. Such a sad thing she passed away so soon.
Moose 976
Back to Black is such an epic, amazing album. I would give anything for Amy to be with us today Sadly, I think a 3rd album wouldn't have been commercially successful because the tabloids would have ripped her to shreds - this would have been pre-social media, when the papers had a much greater power, and when society acted as a whole far nastier toward people's mental health / addiction etc. But I'm sure it would have been a great piece of work, which is all that matters! VasilisVas 5,162
I think Amy would have made an amazing album and would have critical acclaim but probably not be a “popular top 40 mainstream artist” is that makes any sense. Any is such a beautiful soul and I hope she’s in a better place.

She just had one that penetrated pop radio.

Her music was played pretty often on the radio in the USA from what I can remember. Rehab and Back to Black at least.
imnotyourbabe10 6,100
I was just thinking about how we are coming up on 10 years since her passing. I cannot believe that time has gone by. Hopefully us fans (and her loved ones) can honor her in some special way. It is clear she left her mark, and I know we'd all do anything to have her back. Her death was a celebrity death that devastated me because her music helped me through trying times around identity and love in my teens. I had to run out of the movie theater when the documentary "Amy" ended so I could go cry in my car. I'm curious if there's anything left in the "vault." I know Lioness was a compilation album of sorts, but it would be lovely to hear more of her work if it is still out there and wouldn't be imposing or supporting those who ruined her. leedeegaga 349
From what I remember, she was watching The Wizard Of Oz a lot and the album had a lot of nods towards the film. Her talent and vocal abilities are still not matched today. I always wonder what she would be doing/ have done today. I also wish Gaga would have been allowed to do the biopic. I would love to hear her sing You Know I’m No Good. Scare them first, so they can’t scare you...
