I’m voting for Nicki. Her flow, her lyrics, she can sing, .... Cardi has some bops but she’s nowhere near Nicki as an artist. Respect to both of them for slaying the game in their own way tho. Nicki writes her own raps, she is probably THE most versatile rapper of all time, she has incredible wordplay, she has incredible punchlines, she has incredible flow, she can stand toe to toe with the biggest rappers alive, she carried female rap for 8+ years and she proved female rap could not only be profitable, but that a female rapper could be one of the biggest global musicians period (at a time in which Lil Wayne was told not to sign a female rapper because they aren't profitable). Having these two in a dead tie isn't surprising from the forum that, 7 years ago, was calling Iggy Azalea the queen of rap for having a #1 pop hit with Charli XCX. Pardison Fontaine is a great writer, Cardi B has a fun personality and I like Cardi's backstory but it doesn't compare to Nicki. Nicki actually brought something new to the rap game, created insane alter egos and personalities and contributed to the culture in a way that Cardi hasn't.
