Yes. The current variant that is causing such a huge spike in cases, as the numbers have from around 9k cases to almost 4 lakh cases per day, is airborne. We are being advised to wear masks even indoors, as the chances of the virus spreading in a closed area is more than it is outside.

People are not technically dying because of covid, they are dying because of the lack of resources for their treatment. The Government had a year to prepare for this, instead money was put into building statues and massive political campaigns.

One of the doctors at my therapist's office has his whole extended family in India, and he's terrified for them.
