Formal investigation in Bojo’s flat refurb

“A formal investigation has been launched into Boris Johnson's refurbishment of his Downing Street flat after a watchdog found "reasonable grounds to suspect that an offence or offences may have occurred".

The Electoral Commission on Wednesday announced they would look into whether any transactions related to the works on the prime minister's flat, above 11 Downing Street, were properly reported.

It follows days of questions over how and when Mr Johnson's refurbishment of his flat was funded.

In leaked emails, it has emerged that Tory donor Lord Brownlow offered the Conservative Party a £58,000 donation last year.

The money, according to emails seen by the Daily Mail, was to "cover the payments the party has already made on behalf of the soon to be formed 'Downing Street Trust'".”

That's interesting. Btw, what ever happened Old Alex accusing  Sturgeon of lying about when she learned of the sexual assault  allegations and breaking the code of conduct for government ministers. That was a cute story.

She was found to have not broke the ministerial code by an Independent inquiry. She was grilled for 8 hours over the issue. Keep crying. Nicola is here to stay

Oh I could care less either way. I just thought it was funny. Why do you guys idolise politicians so much? Like, I cannot think of ONE politician I actually like. The last one that I thought had any kind of empathy for the public was Mo Mowlam. Maybe Bernie Sanders in the States. I can't think of anyone else. Why you aren't as hard on her as you are "Bozo" is a mystery. It's your beloved Scotland apparently.

I’d be hard on Nicola Sturgeon if she was lying repeatedly, if she saying she would let people die, if she was given out dodgy contracts. I admire Nicola Sturgeon but I would happily hold her accountable. Bojo just keep on setting fire to everything he touches. I’m hard on him because he’s a disgrace to the public office of Prime Minster

She lies all the time though man?  You don't think Sturgeon gives out positions, favours and  benefits to her people or people that will further her agenda? Really? You won't be hard on her because she's for what you are for. You can be honest about it and say you're willing to do whatever it takes and say whatever can be said to get to your goal.

 

I mean I've always thought Boris was a knob, but this sacred defence of people like Sturgeon is bizarre to me. Well, whatever. And sorry, but to reiterate my point, I'm sure most of the Americans here will be going who is Boris Johhnnnnson? Is he on Uk drag race. LMAO

I find it extremely difficult to trust and believe politicians. Nicola Sturgeon actually admits when she’s wrong. Looking at her Government record in Government she has improved so many peoples lives because of it. If I found out she had done for Bojo has done throughout the pandemic I’d be calling for her to go but she hasn’t. She’s using taxpayers money for the benefit of Scotland - look at the SNP manifesto. In 2014, I absolutely hated Salmond, would never of voted for him I voted for Independence out of principle for Scotland. All I’m saying if I always hold Nicola Sturgeon to the same standard I hold Bojo and Keith Starmer
