This is the attitude she was up against back then And this is how it is remembered People act like she had it easy because she is white and upper class. This is what she was up against for years. It happens less so now but people keep forgetting she is THIS talented. I like to keep reminding them! And some just look her very negatively for a whatever reason. One thing I remember distinctly is how many people around me were so positively surprised about it. It was a similar to ASIB, although a lot more people knew she was good by that time. To me personally i remember being so nervous lol, and she simply nailed it, i was just smiling like an idiot the all time. I think it changed things for her. She must have been so nervous. That's why I will admire her forever. She always takes risks. And big risks. She could have skated by on her pre 2012 fame forever as many pop stars too but her career has been one triumph after another bc put in the work and took those risks. Like we are seeing a legendary all time great career in real time and I wish fans didn't take her for granted so much. She's so above stan twitter. I actually wish somebody would ask Gaga what her favourite performance if her music and of other music has been. And yes, i too think we are seeing a legendary career development in real time for sure. I just love to admire it, to watch her take different paths as a performer and artist. I imagine how rewarding and exciting it must be for her to be able to make more films and take this side of her career more seriously. You see, to me she simply is the most interesting and exciting artist to follow and watch, i know I'm biased lol, but she simply has the talent, the rawness, the versatility, the personality, the style, even the imperfections that make her so interesting to me.
