If they were a vote in the House of Commons tomorrow on Holyrood, the English MPs could vote to scrap the parliament and our voice would not be heard. I expect everyone in the UK to get an equal voice at the table, that doesn’t happen.

You represent 8.2% of the population yet get 9.08% of the MPs that make up the United Kingdom, as said Scotland gets her voice listened to more than others but don’t let numbers get in the way of nationalism.

Why should, Scotland a nation, be ignored because we have a smaller population? Our MPs get drowned by our England MPs. Essentially in UK wide elections England decides the Government for the whole of the UK. UNIONS SHOULD NOT WORK LIKE THAT.

What is not clicking? I will explain to you again. England - 533 MPs, Scotland - 59 MPs, Wales - 40 MPs, NI - 18 MPs. 
 

Scot/Wal/NI - 117 MPs 

England - 533 MPs. 
 

No matter what, English MPs always get the last say.

BECAUSE MORE PEOPLE LIVE IN ENGLAND YET STATISTICALLY YOU STILL GET MORE MP REPRESENTATION 

This is like me demanding the entire United Kingdom to listen to just my city’s wants.  That is not how a partnership works.

How is that fair then? England’s votes always outweighs Scotland/Wales and NI no matter what vote it is? It’s not a partnership. A partnership works together. The union doesn’t do that.

I’m not doing this with you anymore.  You’re not listening to rhyme or reason, I’ve given you numbers on how Scottish voters actually have a stronger vote than an English voter.  Then you say Scotland should have even more sway.  This isn’t a partnership, Scotland wants domination.  Well, good luck to her out there.  She’ll struggle without other people’s money holding her up.

If I could I’d get my constituency to hold a referendum. Let Nottingham East become an independent state so we don’t have to suffer at the hands of Boris either, we’ve got a Labour MP and I sure as sh*t didn’t vote to leave. But we have to suck it up and deal with it cause that’s democracy

We don’t want domination. We want our vote to matter. The only way to secure that is Independence.

Scotland isn’t a city  all 32 constituencies voted to remain in the EU by a large margin
