Ban them for the general population. IMO the only officers that should be carrying are anti-terrorism or armed response units like we have in the U.K. This was a domestic call out why the f*ck did they need a gun?! I saw videos around with group of policemen punching and kicking people in the streets for no reason. y'all need to bomb the precints. give fire to every station with policemen barred inside. defend your community. Regardless, it doesn't justify shooting her (let alone 4 times). I don’t understand why In this situation they didn’t just use a taser on her to disarm her if she was being a threat. She is the one who called the police... I mean she knew they were on their way, but if she was being attacked, I get that she wanted to defend herself The protocol for the police here : 1. You seen in the body cam, that officer was walking in to literal chaos, and that girl was seconds away from potentially killing the other girl. She was literally lunging at her with the knife. Yes, I believe the majority of cops are pure evil. But I also feel like maybe this could be a rare case of making the wrong decision in the heat of the moment. Such a tragic situation.
