I realised today that I've never encountered a shiny Pokemon in the wild. Ever. When Black and White were coming out, I literally avoided all sites that would have info about it because I wanted the games to be a complete surprise. And in doing that I felt I enjoyed the games a lot more. But I'm addicted to new X and Y info and I don't know if I can stop.
