I think Flygon is the weakest on the list mainly because his other contemporaries have a higher attack stat and a more diverse movepool. Altaria can be a decent wall with those Defenses, but her HP is not high enough. Where the other Dragons focus on their attack stat, Hydreigon focuses on his Special Attack stat and his speed stat is pretty good too. What I love about Hydreigon besides his phenotype is how diverse his move pool is; Earthquake, Dragon Rush/ Pulse, Fire Blast, Surf, Thunder/Ice/Fire Fang, Superpower, Acrobatics, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast- the list goes on. But his main weakness is his Dark typing; in a world where Fighting Pokemon now dominate the scene, Dark Pokemon must find the means to counter their weakness. If Hydreigon could learn Psychic he would have no problem fighting against most Fighters.. Dragonite is the prototype; the original pseudo-legendary Pokemon; he was replaced with Salamence and Garchomp, but now he comes back with Multiscale. With Multiscale, (and assuming there are no Stealth Rocks/ Toxic Spikes in place) Dragonite gets a guaranteed turn of Dragon Dancing, and then he gets to strike Hard. Salemence is much faster and has Intimidate, which is very useful now considering the now Physical dominated realm. Garchomp is a little bit faster; give him a choice scarf and your opponent's Pokemon will get nervous. BUT all of these mythical beasts (save for Hydreigon) have a 4X weakness to ICE.... Game Freak finally realized this and designed Haxorus-a pure Dragon type. With an insane 147 base Attack stat, nothing stands on its way. Give him a choice band and that attack stat goes even higher. Run. But alas... no Dragon is perfect, he has an abysmal Special Defense stat. I'm split between Dragonite and Garchomp ....However, based on design, I think Hydreigon looks the best.
