New black hole images contain clues to cosmic mysteries

Lol in most black holes ud die before even getting into event horizon

 

U might survive past event horizon in super massive black holes (since increase in gravity is more gradual than in small ones and u wouldnt tear apart as early on) if the black hole isnt feeding and u dont burn up in hot matter that is going in with u...

 

But i presure u probably just would see nothing in front of u until u die since light is getting sucked in also. The most exciting thing u might see is the distorted visuals behind u. Might still be interesting but worth dying a very painful death :ladyhaha:

That's how they did the one i posted though. I didn't mean they did it on their phone i just meant i think the one they posted is edited and added onto (the little clear rays coming off) it's 55 million lightyears away

I only mentioned it bc it's weird that national geographic would use that one and not mention it's not the real pic :gum:

it's a new way of seeing the only black hole we've managed to actually get a real image of, which is huge because technology being able to do that now is insane as we only have known they were there because of being able to look at how other planets move differently around it

they're like the #breaktheinternet of all of our laws of physics i guess :bradley:
