Tim Cook who has been with Apple for 23 years and became a billionaire last year with a net worth of just over $1 Billion has hinted at retirement for this first time in his career

 

He did not say he was going to retire as of now but when asked about a 10 year horizon at the company he suggested he doesnt think he would still be serving as CEO by then

He's been with Apple for 23 years. He became CEO after Steve Jobs stepped down in 2011.

If he said that , he is already got it planned. And I believe it will come earlier than that 10 years timeframe. 

The only thing that will drag it out is the situation in Apple. He would need to finish all his final tasks before he can be free and passed the torch to his successor.
