I look at her behavior back then now with a bit more sympathy though. she probably felt very misunderstood and attacked by the media and general public, so I can't really cackle at her meltdown with that in perspective.

I thought the comparison was obvious since:

• they debuted around the same time;
• competed directly with each other on the charts and for awards;
• all three of them are singers / songwriters (previously wrote songs for someone else, then transitioned into their own acts);
• sang in similar genres, particularly electronic / dance pop;
• even their ages are somewhat same.

They are basically some of the rappers that the 3 + Nicki grew on and inspired by, without them WAP and other sex rap songs by women wouldn't be so accepted in 2021 let's say.. if you're really into rap and R&B give their albums a  listen
