Fresh ? No. Even her newest nusic is a year old. It is great though.

fresh doesn't mean newly released. it means it sounds like it is present, not dated.
so title can read "does lady gaga's music sound present and not dated?"

Very unpopular opinion here - I think the majority of her older singles have not aged well, they are still top-tier classics but you can really really pinpoint that they were released in 2008-2011, Bad Romance and The Edge Of Glory being the exception

Joanne sounds like freshest album to be honest, it could have been released at any time

It's odd because some of her non-singles sound the most fresh - Monster, Electric Chapel, Heavy Metal Lover, Scheiße, Alice, Sour Candy, etc.

I think out of her singles - Just Dance, Bad Romance, Judas, John Wayne, ROM.

I agree with this, although I would include Bad Romance as well. To me that song doesn't sound fresh. Probably since it is so overplayed and I never felt it was her most iconic track or video like a lot of other people.

Music ages across time, especially pop music, so the criticisms of TF/TFM/BTW being "dated" have always felt like copouts to me. Tbh, I've always felt her discography aged considerably well when compared to a lot of pop music that was released at the time. Like compare her earlier discography with music by say Far East Movement, Kesha, Taio Cruz, Black Eyed Peas, etc. The difference is night and day. And tbh, none of her current albums are especially dated imo. With current music trends? No, but that doesn't make something dated necessarily. Bar Free Woman and Fun Tonight, Chromatica generally sounds fresh to me, Joanne is fresh (if nothing amazing overall), ASIB is timeless, and ARTPOP was released during the EDM boom so if anything it was on-trend.

All of her albums do not fit perfectly with what's happening in the music world. And that's exactly why they're incredible.
She kinda informs everyone else what to do, because we always see her influence in the years following.
Everyone is doing whatever Gaga tapped into.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

I think TFM, BTW, and ARTPOP sound fresh! The rest aged poorly. Obviously excluding Chromatica since it’s only a year old. Time will tel for that

It's just my way of saying that 'fresh or not fresh' isn't a question for me when it comes to music. There is music which is new and there is music which is not new, and there is music that I like and music that I don't like, and something that I liked ten years ago I might not like now, and vice versa. But fresh or not fresh doesn't really occur to me.

:) Okei! Just wasn't sure since there are some people who aren't English native speaking so I figured I'd reply with that.

Just wanted to add, that perhaps I may have chosen the wrong word? I didn't want to ask whether her catalog was dated or timeless. I wanted to ask if her music has ever been inventive, new, cutting edge, ahead of the curve. We all know she has never followed a trend, but has she been ahead of a trend? I say she was during TF/TFM but since then, NO.
