This is an outdated belief. NASA and the US Geological Survey have done a lot of research on this recently and made the link (within the past 5/6 years IIRC).

Oh wow, that's eery how it's happened so close to the tenth anniversary. I didn't realise that the anniversary had already happened but I knew Gaga's Japan twitter released that video of her talking about it with the lavender hair.

The tsunami in 2011 was 38m, that is high, 1m is not even my height. It isn't really devistating.

Pls don’t compare the 2011 tsunami,which was cuz of the earthquake with magnitude 9...The wave was in some parts up to 40.5 m...One meter wave could be created when there are strong winds too

That is true, but if the frequency of waves is very high, which is likely, it will effectively be as if the sea level has risen 1 meter, which is a lot and can easily flood an entire city. But yeah, there aren't big risks when it comes to people's lives, unless they live underground or something.

Climate change not that i know of. But human made objects can when a lot of weight is pressed in an area that throws plates off

 

Like the 3 gourges dam in China alterted the weight of water so much scientists saidbit woukd increase frequency of local earthquates. I dont know if it ended up causing it or not
