I’m just saying that, optically, that vaccine has been controversial because of the bad press. Funny how he’s specifically sending that one to other countries but has increased orders of moderna and pfizer domestically

I just read more about it. Its a loan anyway its not given. US is gonna send surplus vaccined which we then pay back later

 

Its still very useful regardless considering many of our doses were delayed

And I assume the loan is not just AstraZeneca? Could just be a headline thing. Misinformation or not, it has gotten a lot of bad press.

From the article it seems like its specifically astrazeneca

 

We already approved it the US hasnt finished the process so they have extra we can use now cuz they arent using that particular vaccine then later we give the US the same number of doses back

That’s because AstraZeneca has not been approved in the US
