To be clear, ALL hate crimes need to stop, but violence against Asian Americans has been on the uptick (I read this morning that there's been a 150% increase) and largely ignored by the media. And yes, we need stricter gun laws, but we also need to combat racism. White supremacy and toxic masculinity are serious problems.
