I'm not even an American. Stop showing your ignorance. Russia is a North Korea-level authoritarian country with a literal murdered at the helm. Even China is not as bad as Russia. Not a single country should accept their vaccine after the jailing of Navalny and the annexation of Crimea. This will only give them more political leverage.

We've also seen admissions from Putin that he's purposefully pressuring Ukraine's politicians to approve his vaccines in order to oust the current anti-Russian leaders of that country. Remember when Putin went to WAR a few years ago to steal Ukraine's land?!

No one is pretending Russia is good either, but the savior complex of the US is a storyline that we’re all have heard way too much times before and some of us have directly faced the consequences of that.

Then maybe we should also reject US vaccines for their interventions in the Middle East for decades and literally destroying the entire region and meddling in worldwide politics, backing coups, and causing thousands of deaths. That'll teach them a lesson right? We're in the middle of a global pandemic that's ravaging the f*ck out of underdeveloped countries and vaccines are our only solution for now. It's not the time to play favorites and adopt this holier than thou attitude while poor people are dying at the doors of hospitals. If you're gonna boycott a vaccine because of its original country's crimes, apply that to all the criminal superpowers or not at all.
