StrawberryBlond 14,872
While I wasn't a fan of all the nominations and who won in the end, there were a few upsides. Gaga winning for ROM, obviously, as well as Miranda Lambert winning best country album for her best album yet and H.E.R. winning SOTY for such an underrated masterpiece of a song. And if Gaga wasn't going to win best pop album, I'm satisfied with Dua winning instead. So glad to see women weren't paid dust like many years beforehand and I loved the diversity of the winners. Sweeps are so boring and it seemed like so many fanbases got fed. I want to see more ceremonies conclude like this, where the majority of attendees actually made the right choice in showing up and didn't feel used for ratings. Sister 9,907
I am happy that Billie Eilish won Record Of The Year with Everything I Wanted, love that song and video. Also happy that Fiona Apple won Best Alt Album, Best Rock Performance and that she was not forgotten and rolled over, just because she doesn't hang around in the news and media. She is a genuine artist. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
