A 10 yo unpopular kpop group went viral & r topping the charts in Korea

Brave girls is a kpop group that debuted in 2011. They have been relatively under the radar until last month. 

In 2017, brave girls released “rollin’”.

Last month this video of brave girls’ performances of rollin’ for the Korean military went viral:

 

Brave girls and their song rollin’ immediately soared in popularity and just now went #1 on Melon (the billboard chart of Korea)

The song is huge and tomorrow they will be going on music shows to promote the song!

I'm happy for them! also I've seen many comments of k-pop fans mentioning how happy they are that a girl group with normal figures are going viral! they arn't super thin and they seem rather healthy in general and it makes them more relatable I'd assume

Is this what‘s being assumed to be „normal figures“? They are really skinny.

OK, the song really is a bop but what is that "explicit" version of the music video?   The only scenes missing are the ones where they laid on the floor and it doesn't even contain explicit content, unless you call them brushing over the others' legs with their hands explicit  .

But that video with the military guys is so cute, how they are all partying and just enjoying their time  .

I love it. It feels like a fun I want to say Diplo or Guetta song. Like the one with Guetta and Rihanna. Maybe there is a better comparison but I love it.

I love stories like these.  I was just reading on how a fancam going viral literally saved EXID from disbandment in 2014. Sort of frustrating to see the same 3 mega giant K-Pop groups break the same records over and over when there are so many talented groups like this on the brink of collapse.
