The Republican Party has completely gone off the deep end in trying to cater to fascist alt-right white nationalist groups, and Democrats need to stop trying to "play nice" and get serious about getting stuff done. This bill is nothing close to the bare minimum. The minimum wage is barely related to immediate covid relief and would be much more appropriate in another package. I want $15 minimum as much as anyone here (even more because that's still not the cost of living), but we knew since the first few weeks that the minimum wage was probably not gonna pass in the stim package.
