Gaga started the whole thing here:

1. She smokes pot onstage in Amsterdam. 9-18-2012

2. James Molinaro sees this and calls her a slut publically. 9-25-2012

3. The Los Angeles band Bankrupt Slut hears what he says and takes offense, printing up posters

with their message of female empowerment and posts them all over Los Angeles. 10-16-2012

4. I find one in L.A. and steal it. 11-14-2012

5. I blog about it here! 11-26-2012

6. The band sees my thread here and joins the site, now here's hoping we can get them in touch with Gaga's people!

I think what he's trying to say is that those words have lost some of their stigma and bad meaning, they are more mainstream words nowadays then they have been in the past.
