I am a Torontonian, and people Manhattan & San Francisco as only places more expensive than Toronto in terms of housing. 
 

$2000/month is not that high if this condo is in Manhattan... It’s actually really good price especially considering that people are saying price is marked up because Lady Gaga lived there.

Well, it’s also in the Lower East Side and it’s in Manhattan. An apartment like this would probably be worth about $1200-1500 in a neighborhood like Astoria, Queens or Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
